Our Knitting

Manxknits was created with a dream of knitting beautiful custom and designer clothing and toys using traditional means. Large shops just cannot create the same quality that a few people designing and handknitting their own items can. We really want to bring you beautiful original clothes and anything else you want really. If you have an idea for a design then contact us - we can do anything!

Tradition

Cregneash Folk Village

Manxknits are doing handknitting demonstrations at cregneash folk village in The Isle of Man every thursday. Cregneash village is a living historic museum where all traditional manx activities are acted out for real including spinning, farming and cooking.

 

Special Sheep

Manx loaghtan wool is so rare. Modern sheep are just not as beautiful as these traditional four to six horned beasts. Loaghtan's have such attitude and character.
